The Sticky Web Development Process
The Sticky process to web development and marketing is extremely thorough and professional, from the very beginning. Whilst every project is unique, there is a general flow to the work we conduct:
1 – Complimentary consultation, including a free Web NLYZR report. After a brief phone conversation, we’ll meet and explore your goals, resources, and schedule.
2 – Proposal. We will submit and review a statement of work that provides a description of work to be performed, the functionality and framework to be utilized, and an exact cost schedule.
3 – Mockups. based on your input, and in consideration of usability, download times, browser compatabilty, standards compliance, and search engine optimization, we will build several mockups for your review. These mockups are graphical representations of the “look and feel” you’re going for. Once you have approved a mockup we start the building of your site.
4 – Development. We’ll set up a hosting site for the build, and let our developers loose on creating your new site, including the framework, the database, and code. We’re also working on your initial optimised copy.
5 – Build out. Here’s where it all comes together: the mockups, the development, the copy. We’ll build your site to reflect your company appropriately, and to operate efficiently. We’ll test your site to ensure that all works together.
6. – Delivery and Training. Its important that the right people in your organisation know how to use a Sticky website and be able to follow our marketing system. When the site is ready to be delivered, we arrange a half day training that demonstrates how to use the site, upload new content and implement marketing strategies. A lot of the site’s content will go onto the site during this process.
7 – Launch. After your review and your approval we’ll flip that switch, and your site will be publicly available.
8 – Maintenance. A Sticky website is always evolving. Regular upgrades to the operating system will be made so that your site is always technologically current. The marketing system will be upgraded as new developments and processes become necessary.
9 – Analysis. We’ll run Web NLYZR over your site monthly to ensure that improvements are being made and provide you with constructive advice on how to continue improving your site as a dynamic marketing tool. We’ll keep you on track to achieve your pre-determined marketing goals.
